Last year we took off. Now it’s time take a step further to our goal. Yet, the way to the destination will never be the same as everything is changing all the time in this never-ending world.
So, change is the key to success. Learn from mistakes and pick up new good things, but don’t forget that in the end, we change to strike our goal that fulfills meaning of life, not to adapt to the world.
If you have the target more than just to survive, let’s “Strive Forward” with TEDxChulalongkornU.
TEDxChulalongkornU invites you to Think, Act and Become through series of talks from our gifted and well-rounded speakers who will be sharing their inspiring stories after they have decided to “Trust Their Guts”. We encourage you to define yourself in your own way, to have the courage and the determination to pursue your dreams, and to make your dreams come true. TRUST YOUR GUTS… It starts from here.
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxChulalongkornU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxChulalongkornU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
TEDxChulalongkornU is an independently organized TEDx event by Chulalongkorn students. We aim to echo the fascinating stories, ideas, talents, and passions of those who have successfully found their paths, and perhaps remind us, the pillars of the kingdom, that we can create positive impacts to the society in countless number of ways possible.
